MSc and PhD Scholarships

Over $1 M in Scholarships to 50 Students

For 2006-2007, 50 HEC Montréal students have received awards to pursue their management studies at the MSc in Administration and postgraduate levels. All in all, these students received just over $1 M from a number of granting agencies: SSHRC, FQRSC, MES, IFM2 and FQRNT. The students were selected by independent juries of expert researchers, based on the exceptional quality of their university work focusing on social, economic and cultural issues.


Postgraduate scholarships

Thirteen students received postgraduate scholarships of $20,000 to $35,000 per year for periods of up to three years.

A BBA graduate also receives funding

Jonathan Coutu, who earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) at HEC Montréal and is doing his graduate studies at Queen’s University, also received a one-year $17,500 scholarship from the SSHRC, based on his academic record at the BBA level.
